December 2018      Coming Soon: Census Dashboard

Ever wonder where the US News and World Report obtains its annual numbers of Stanford enrollment? Every fall, the university takes a census on a particular day, and those numbers form the core of our enrollment statistics.

That data will soon be available through SIRIS Student Analytics, going back to the fall of 2002. The census data provides a stable, organized dataset to track trends in enrollment over time. It includes everyone who was an active student on that day and records their academic programs and plans, linked to their student characteristics.
